The "Freshen Up" Project: Apple Farm's Redecoration of Rooms | Part 2

This is an update from the previous page on the ongoing redecorating project at Apple Farm.

The General Manager, Dean Hutton, has been very hands-on throughout the entire project. He has personally shopped in antique stores throughout California, hand-selecting furniture, mirrors, lamps, paintings and other accent and decor pieces, fresh paint and/or wallpaper. He has also hand-selected the soft goods and fabrics present in the refurbished rooms. All of the freshened elements and placement of accent pieces have been completed by current members of our staff.

Another popular room, Room 327, is now one of the King Specialty rooms we feature. The room has one King size bed and features all the amenities that the King Deluxe rooms feature.  As you can see from the before and after pictures here, the room transitioned from a cozy blue floral motif to an inviting cream with fresh green accents. In addition to the overall decor, the bathroom received a facelift with new tiling, a new vanity as well as a fresh coat of paint to accent the rest of the room. We've included photos of the process below to show the expert craftsmanship of our staff at work.

When you next visit the Apple Farm, request to stay in Room 327. We hope you find it as beautiful and cozy as we do.

Stay tuned for more room updates when we start this project back up in the fall of 2010.

Be sure to ask for this and any one of our beautiful, individually decorated rooms soon!
