The Apple Farm Restaurant & Bakery has been a favorite spot for decades for locals as well as the traveler on a weekend getaway. Our hearty homestyle food, fresh pastries, and pies are world famous! If you enjoy the simple pleasures of a farmer's market, you will savor traditional favorites like chicken and dumplings, turkey pot pie, or biscuits and gravy. Or you can treat yourself to prime rib and fresh seafood, followed by our signature dessert, the Hot Apple Dumpling all in the same atmosphere of Country Victorian charm as our Inn.

If you're heading out to explore the town, visit Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, or drive up the coast, take along a couple of our delicious box lunches. When returning after a busy day, relax to music, appetizers and cocktails on the outdoor dining patio.

The Apple Farm Restaurant, located directly adjacent to the Apple Farm Inn, welcomes you from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Current Blue Plate Specials:

Known years ago to be the standout entree on any restaurant's menu, the Blue Plate Special returns to Apple Farm in the form of carefully tended, updated classics -- each accompanied by homestyle sides and a non-alcoholic beverage for only $13.95. And with a different special offered each evening, it's easy to slow down with a Sunday-night supper that rivals Mom's best any night of the week. The follow items are our current Blue Plate Specials. (Restrictions apply. Menu subject to change.)

  • SUNDAY: Stuffed Pork Tenderloin- Pork tenderloin stuffed with cornbread, cranberries, golden raisins, mission figs, and walnuts with a hint of sage. Finished with a black peppercorn sauce. Served with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables.
  • MONDAY: Fish Tacos- Warm corn tortillas filled with seasoned and sauteed Tilapia filets, shredded cabbage, cilantro, and onions with a side of homemade salsa. Served with rice and beans.
  • TUESDAY: Beef K-Bobs- Tender tri-tip on bamboo skewers with peppers and onions, on a bed of rice pilaf. Served with garlic bread and a side of our homemade BBQ sauce.
  • WEDNESDAY: Chicken Parmesan- Boneless chicken breast breaded and sauteed. Topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheese on a bed of linguine marinara. Served with garlic bread.
  • THURSDAY: Clam Fritters- This southern style treat is made with tender sea clams. Mixed in a seasoned fritter batter. These fritters are deep fried to a golden brown and served with crispy cole slaw, french fries, and our gourmet tartar sauce.
